NEW STUDIO OPENING BY END OF YEAR!
o it's been too long since I've updated.
This is the most important update I've ever made.
I am opening my own studio with Mark Vaske Jr. by the end of the year.
New name, new everything! Look for links to a new website, blog, twitter, facebook, and myspace page.
It's been a busy and good wedding season, somewhat hectic, but still awesome.
I got the chance to go with Warped Tour for 4 days with my boys from History on Repeat.

There will be some photos from that coming soon, including live and portrait photos of Everytime I Die, Four Year Strong, Set Your Goals, Suicide Silence, The After Midnight Project, Ice Nine Kills, Whitechapel, Parkway Drive, Bring Me The Horizon, and my absolute favorite shoot I've done, I Can Make A Mess Like Nobody's Business and portraits of Ace Enders.
I've been doing some more shoots for fun with drastic and dramatic lighting and I've been working on accent lighting.

Sarah
I got to do a second shoot with Sarah. She had gotten photos earlier this year and just got back from Mexico and wanted to do another photoshoot. I ended up staying up until 6:30 am scouting spots and trying to figure out where we were going to do this photo shoot and ended up deciding on a broken down barn out in the country. We asked the owner if we could shoot and he ended up actually telling us we could use some of the old broken down cars he had laying around. The location ended up being perfect.

Alec Bauer
I did this photo shoot with Alec Bauer, a local tattoo artist, for a book he will be featured in.
The shoot took about 1 hour and was done in the warehouse district.
It was really windy, but it was nice and bright out which made lighting this shoot easy.
Heres a before and after editing set.
The editing took about 2 hours total for this one photo.

Latest Shoot
I'm really happy with how the photo shoot for Sarah went today.
It was kind of a last minute location change that ended up being great.....
Even though it was windy, it ended up adding to the photo.....
The rest will be up on flickr by the end of the week.

Mini Blog for Mini Shoots
So the $25 Mini Shoot deal has been going pretty well.
So far I've done 2, and have 3 more to do still.
Unfortunately they won't be around for much longer so get one while you can.
Here's a couple of un edited photos from the last one.

Crossing my fingers that I get through this alright.
Wedding season is coming up, and hopefully I'll be all done with mini-shoots by then.
Gonna be living in Adobe Lightroom pretty soon and not looking forward to endless editing.
Mom made eggs and bacon....
To the guy I met at the bar randomly who reads my blog.....

After reading this over I realize that I'm kinda all over the place with this one.
Pretty much get a mini shoot before it's too late.....
and I hate editing photos.

2009 Misc Shots
Finally got around to finishing up some 2009 wedding shots from last year.
Waiting to start 2010 and trying to learn some new editing techniques and lighting set ups.
so far it's been frustrating.
Found a photo I took on the A Day to Remember myspace, and had some requests to use some photos for merch by Crime in Stereo, but it's been a pretty quiet winter.
$25 half hour sessions seem to be going alright Shot 2 already and have 2 more coming up in the next week.
end of march = busy.
